          The baking trays are made from high quality, eco-friendly food-grade plastic, which is specially designed for this purpose and does not harm health. It is absolutely inert to food products, i.e. does not react with food products under any circumstances. Consequently, no unwanted processes but moisture abstraction occur while drying the products. The baking trays of the electric dryer are made from opaque material to keep more vitamins during drying, as vitamins and nutrients are destroyed in the light.

          Capacity

          For even drying, it is recommended to cut the products 5 mm thick and to lay them on the baking tray in one layer. The amount of simultaneously dried products can be increased by installing additional baking trays. The standard delivery set of the BelOMO electric dryer includes 5 baking trays with a diameter of 34.3 cm and a height of 3.2 cm. As an option, the buyer can purchase extra baking trays.           Air supply technology

          In the simplest models of electric dryers air is supplied from the bottom up. Heated streams, moving through the meshed baking trays, evaporate moisture from fruits and vegetables. In such simple devices products are drying unevenly, i.e. mushrooms and berries on the lower baking trays dry faster than on the upper ones. That’s why the baking trays with products have to be swapped from time to time. Also, there are advanced electric dryers with a central chute, through which hot air enters all the baking trays almost simultaneously.

          The drying process in the Asaloda Electric Dryer is the following: a motor with a fan creates a stream of air. Once heated, air evenly flows onto the baking trays with products. Warm air is blown by the fan between the walls of the baking tray (the baking trays have double walls) and from there spreads horizontally over each tray. A constantly flowing stream of warm, dry air ejects the old one, which has absorbed moisture from the products. Such an air circulation pattern allows for the most effective drying of products.
