The best sanitary civil defense units were selected in the Pervomaisky district of Minsk on 24 May.
Reference: Functions of a sanitary squad is intended for: searches / rendering first aid in the areas of mass destruction; participation in the carrying-out / transportation of the injured to vehicle loading areas; work in other civil defense formations / civil defense medical services; work in medical facilities of civil defense. There are 23 persons in a sanitary squad: a commander, a deputy commander, a liaison officer (aka a supply manager), a driver, 2…5 units of sanitary activists (4 persons each).
The employees of Chief Process Engineer’s Office and the employees of Unitary Enterprise "STC LEMT of the BelOMO" were representing the sanitary unit of BelOMO Holding.
As provided for by regulations, the competition consisted of 4 stages: the sanitary squad’s basic equipment checkup; the sanitary squad operation in a combine injury area; the sanitary squad operation in a chemical lesion area; the sanitary squad operation in the infectious disease area.
Our boys and girls had a great performance at every stage of the competition, finishing 5th among 20 sanitary units.
